Jeff Boedeker
J.R. Boedeker was born in a small hippie community outside of Los Alamos, New Mexico. He spent much of his youth digging through strange craters, finding rocks for his parents' special "glowing art" collection. A late bloomer, he didn't say anything funny until age 28. J.R. started playing guitar at the tender age of 12, and hasn't gotten much better since. He's played with many popular St. Louis area bands over the years including the “Slag Magnets” and the “Vibe Raiders.” You can currently find him either playing with his classic rock/dance band “Big House,” or performing by himself with his solo acoustic comedy group, the “Chicken Pot Pilots.” J.R. polishes his rock collection every night while caring for his poor mutated parents.
